Akita Elpida Memory, Inc. has been certified by one of the accredited independent certification bodies as being in full compliance with the requirements of the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System since January, 2007. As our pursuit of technology harmonizing with the environment and even more environmentally-friendly production, again in January, 2007, we obtained the ISO14001:2004 Environmental Management System ("EMS") certification. Since December, 2007, in order to well coordinate Akita Elpida's EMS with the environmental management framework of the Eplida Group companies, we have integrated it under ISO14001:2004 with that of Elpida Memory, Inc. Also the transition to ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System was successfully made in December, 2009.
